I hate it when people make a big fuss over how I spend my OWN money! It’s MY money and I can do whatever I want with it, right???
I totally agree. It is your money and you can do whatever you want with it because you earned and deserve it.
But if I may just share something. Don’t just think of your present. Think of your future.
Think of your dreams: what you want to accomplish, experience, and go to.
Think of your loved ones and their needs.
Are you setting aside money for these? How will you fund not just your present but future needs as well? How will you allocate money for current splurges as well as your needs? Will others fund your needs? Or is it just you? So you need to rationalize and systematize how you spend your money today.
This is where financial planners — and I’m sure people you talk to about your finances — can show you the way.
Only you can walk it yourself.
