Dr. Alvin Ang is a professor of Economics at the Ateneo de Manila University and director of its Economic Research Center. He has a doctorate in Applied Economics from Osaka University and a Master of Public Policy degree from the National University of Singapore, where he was a scholar. His research on migration and personal finance have been widely circulated. He and his wife have made teaching financial literacy their advocacy, and taught financial literary in rural areas in the Philippines and in other countries.
